We hope this day brings you some downtime because we could all use a little! While it may not look the way we hoped it would, we wish nothing blessings to you all today.
How do you celebrate Thanksgiving? My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. All the food and family and cooler weather without the craziness of gifts. I love the Macy’s parade, football games, dressing (yes DRESSING, I said what I said), and from scratch pumpkin pie.
It’s been an odd year, and whether you’re celebrating with extended family or just a few we hope you stop to recognize amongst the chaos, what you are grateful for. You can start small; a home, a job, food in your pantry, your health, clean water….things that some are not guaranteed. It’s how we make it through, by recognizing what we DO have instead of what we don’t. It encourages perspective. We can all start to be belly button gazers from time to time!
OK, enough lessons…Here’s a dose of happy.
