Good Morning Thrivers!

We're afraid to say it…

Okay, no, not really.  I don't think Kanye was even on the ballot in Texas.  But all those memes about Nevada picking Kanye and not knowing how to tell the rest of us sure gave us life last week!

And that's about all we've got to say about the election.  Well, except this brilliant advice from therapist Aundi Kolber on IG:

The bottom line for us is love your people and love them well.  If we don't like something about the world we live in, we take ACTION to change it... right in our own backyards.  It’s part of how we thrive.

Notice it doesn't say talk a lot on social media and convince everyone your opinion is right.  ACT.  LOVE. and WALK it out humbly with God. Those are pretty clear directions.

They're easier said than done though, right? We all need help staying in our own lane, keeping eyes on our own papers, so to speak.  It's easy to say, harder to do. We get caught up in all that is going on in the world. We get caught up in what everyone else is doing. And paying more attention to all that rather than our own lives is one of the things that keeps us from thriving.

So, what's a gal to do? Never fear! We've got you covered...

Our Start Thriving Mini Workshop is coming!   And we want to give you a free ticket as a thank you for being a Thriveletter reader! (details below)

We're going to walk you step by step (see what I did there?) from where you're stuck to where you'll thrive. 2020 does not get to claim victory over you.  Uh-uh.  We refuse.

We're going to equip you with:

  • Simple steps that are customized to fit YOUR life

  • Our Start Thriving Framework to help you figure out what's holding you back, where you want to be, and how to get there

  • Beautiful downloadable workbook

  • Access to ask questions and get personalized feedback

  • Plus we teach you how to reuse what you learn over and over so you don't just start thriving, you Keep Thriving.

Give us 60 minutes and we'll teach you how to curate a life you love and thrive in.  You have the power to start thriving and keep thriving.  Let us teach you how!

Our Start Thriving Mini-Workshop will be for sale to the public starting at Thanksgiving.  But we want to give thanks to YOU first!  As our thank you for reading and being part of the Thriveletter community, you can claim a free pass. Reply to this email and ask for your free pass to the  Start Thriving Mini Workshop.  It's that simple.

XO,

Michelle

Be kind to each other. We’re all just trying to get through this life taking our sweatshirts off without our t-shirts coming up too.

Recent Thoughts:

I keep thinking about my friendships lately, and the one’s that I’ve titled “pajama friends”. My husband and I moved around a few times in the past years and with each new location I’ve been in search of these people. So what is a pajama friend, you ask? One that you can relax with…one that you wear your PJs to their house, coffee in hand, move the laundry over on the couch, and sink in. This friend offers you comfort in her home or just in her vicinity. My first pajama friend was Heidi, she was a very special person when I was new to South Mississippi and made me feel immediately at home. She’s the kind of friend that you can just rest with. I’m so incredibly grateful for her, and since then it’s been my standard for friendship. So how about you? Do you have friends like this? DO YOU offer comfort and rest to others? We all have “those days” from time to time where we just need to sit and be 100% ourselves and reset with the friends we can’t live without!

World Kindness Day-November 13th

I know it can be complicated to help others while being cautious about quarantine, but all the more reason to get creative! Here are some ideas to try as we remind ourselves of how grateful we are for all that that we have.
